Independent survey support for Oyster catamaran buyers
For prospective owners of the newly announced Oyster C60 and P60 who want independent specification review, stage inspection and pre-delivery inspection, reporting only to them.
Oyster Yachts announced the Oyster C60 sailing catamaran on 9 September 2026 at Cannes, and the Oyster P60 power catamaran on 29 October 2026 at Fort Lauderdale. Both are designed with Berret-Racoupeau.

Support can cover review of the specification and contract documents, inspection at agreed stages of the build, and a pre-delivery inspection before handover, with written reports and defect lists. The scope is agreed individually, subject to yard access, the build programme and the information available.

Frequently asked questions
Does a brand-new yacht still benefit from independent inspection?
Yes. Builders run their own quality control, but an independent inspector reports only to you. Items found during the build or at pre-delivery inspection can be raised and rectified before handover, rather than discovered afterwards under warranty.
How does this differ from the builder's own support?
Builder support and after-sales service are provided by the builder. SVG Marine is independent of Oyster Yachts, is not affiliated with or appointed by them, and acts solely for the owner. The two are complementary.
